Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to oversee resident care and direct nursing staff in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Blue Springs, Missouri. You will develop the plan of care and collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and a minimum of 2 years in a SNF preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN/LPN program and licensed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred, not required).
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication or any change in patient condition
• Monitors assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed.

Your Job Summary
