Job Overview

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic – Onsite Health Technician, PRN (as needed) – Kansas City, MO.

Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is not a full‑time position; hours are variable and based on clinic coverage needs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic.
• Provide primary clinical care for occupational and urgent care patients.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs).
• Support on‑site employee health and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
• Document care using EMR and other tools.
• Perform case management and medical charting.
• Maintain OSHA record‑keeping.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal team members.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as LPN or Paramedic.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong computer and technology skills, including EMR use.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb emergency response bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, outgoing personality and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Passion for patient care and a sense of humor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a worksite clinic environment.
• Background in occupational health.
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
