Available for you:
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. If the position requires IV therapy/management skills in North Dakota, graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing is required. Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or multi-state licensure privileges. Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program. Prior healthcare experience is preferred. Must be nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA) through a recognized certification program (e.g., AAMA, NHA, AMCA, NCCT, AMT). Additional state requirements include registration as an MAIII with the ND Board of Nursing in North Dakota, with a 4-month window to obtain registration if not already held. All medication administration prior to obtaining MAIII registration must be supervised by a licensed nurse. MAs working in Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and Oregon do not require state registration. BLS certification is required within six months of employment, with recertification as needed.
