Job summary

Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA seeks an LPN for our Oncology and Infusion Center to provide safe nursing care and assist in supervising CNAs. You will administer medications, perform venipuncture, and participate in discharge planning while upholding patient safety and privacy standards.

Requirements include graduation from an approved LPN program and an active Louisiana LPN license, with knowledge of nursing processes and anatomy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
• Current license as a LPN in Louisiana.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles.

LPN - Oncology and Infusion Center

who is responsible for rendering safe nursing care to patients; supervising, directing, and monitoring the nursing care assigned to her/him; administering medications, performing venipuncture, assisting in the supervision and training of CNAs; and performs related duties, and using the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and related criteria for the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric population.

EDUCATION/SKILLS:

• Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing.
• Current license as a LPN in the state of Louisiana.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles.
• Knowledge of anatomy
