Job summary

Mohawk Valley Health System seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide general nursing care in Medical Group practices. You will assist and advocate for patients and families, collaborating with physicians, RNs and the care team to support patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include gathering data, preparing patients for exams, and performing tasks under clinical direction. A NYS LPN license and BLS are required; a BSN is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program and eligible for licensure.
• Preferred BSN from an accredited program.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient measurements and collect data for examinations.
• Record and report patient findings to caregivers and physicians.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Supportive care under the direction of a licensed healthcare professional.
