LPN Office Coordinator -- PRIMARY CARE MON HEALTH WESTON ($7200 Sign-on Bonus) New

To provide effective & efficient operations of the office to include resource management and staffing schedules. Will be a working coordinator position to assist with patient care and administrative role in clinic.

Responsibilities

People and Culture
Directs the daily clerical activities of the department to ensure a smooth flow of operations including scheduling staff to meet patient needs. Assures communication between providers, staff, and patients Attends all hospital related meetings as requested by manager. Attends any hospital-based training as requested by manager or administration.

Integration and Efficiency
Performs all weekly/daily patient schedules within the means of provider/staff availability. Coordinates ordering and distribution of linen, supplies, and equipment for all assigned areas Completes monthly data sheets and reports as is requested by manager or other hospital individuals to track flow and census within department. Completes monthly reclassification, ordering and distribution of supplies for all assigned locations Maintains a smooth working environment when manager is not present and coordinates with manager on any activities or clinical changes that arise in manager’s absence. Continually assesses offices processes or tasks and seeks ways to improve efficiency, time management and customer satisfaction. Assists staff with the necessary information and organization to aide in documentation. Communicates to provider any changes in patient function, changes in response to treatment or specific information from observation in clinic to aide provider in developing comprehensive treatment program for patients.

Stewardship (Revenue, Cost, Value)
Cross references daily charges to ensure no missed charges as requested by the manager. Organizes inventory and maintains daily supplies and assures that equipment and supplies are stocked within orderly and clean clinic setting. Maintains sufficient level of office supplies and ensures that office equipment is in good working condition. Organizes and coordinates insurance denials or redeterminations with other departments. Works closely with other departments such as patient access, billing, medical records, etc. to ensure proper documentation has been performed in requirement of third party payors.

Quality and Safety
Completes any reports or statistical information that is requested by the manager or other supporting individuals within the hospital with support of manger. Coordinates equipment inspections and assist with environmental rounds. Reports any maintenance or repair needs to manager/assists in placing Work Orders. Performs cleaning of all equipment per equipment cleaning protocol. Reports immediately incidents/potential incidents to immediate supervisor and completes thoroughly and concisely incident reports

Strategic Growth
Trains new office staff when appropriate, reports poor job performance to manager. Communicates staffing needs. Monitors volumes and raises access concerns to management. Actively engages and provides feedback on department initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.

Two years in an administration coordination capacity required. Clinical experience as an LPN required.
