Job summary

Kettering Health Network seeks an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. You will support examinations, administer medications, and educate patients under supervision to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited LPN program with an active Ohio license and BLS certification (or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire). Previous outpatient clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Office Clinic provides direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient clinic setting, working under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. This role is responsible for performing basic nursing procedures, assisting with examinations, administering medications, and supporting patient education to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. None required beyond completion of an accredited LPN program. Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an outpatient clinic or ambulatory care environment. Certification in a specialty area relevant to clinic population (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics).
