Job summary

VillageMD in Connecticut seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to support clinic operations and patient care. You will administer medications, assist with exams, and ensure accurate charting in the EMR system.

Requirements include CT LPN licensure and completion of an LPN program; IV therapy and phlebotomy experience are preferred. The role involves patient education and coordinating follow-up visits within a multi-site care network.

Responsibilities

• Escort patient into exam room and prepare for exams.
• Explain procedures, meds, diets and physician instructions.
• Administer medications, injections and IV therapy as allowed.
• Perform basic patient care such as wound care and catheterization.
• Enter patient data accurately into EMR and keep physician desks organized.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and communicate delays as needed.
