Job summary

Faith Haven Senior Care is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing team in Jackson, MI. You will deliver specialized care across orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, and more, using advanced technology within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and patient/family education, while supporting Nurse Aide staff and ensuring compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice in Michigan (RN not required).
• CPR-BLS certification or higher.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or higher in nursing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments including wound care, irrigation, IV therapy, tube feedings and other nursing duties.
• Administer medications as prescribed and advise on changes to treatment plans.
• Provide preventative and supportive care addressing physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients and families.
• Oversee Nurse Aide team including direction, training, and evaluations.

• Base rate $29.15 per hour - up to $33.00 per hour (based on years of certification!)
• PLUS $5.00 per hour 2nd shift
• PLUS $4.00 per hour 3rd shift
• PLUS $3.40 per hour hero / hazard pay

We Can Work With Your Scheduling Needs

• All shifts include rotating weekends (every other weekend) and some holidays
• Full Time - 2nd shift available - 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

How You Will Help People Every Day

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• A current license to practice as a Practical Nurse - LPN in the state of Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
