Job summary

Meadowbrook Respiratory and Nursing Center is seeking an RN or LPN supervisor to provide direct nursing care and oversee day-to-day nursing staff, including CNAs/GNAs. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and complete evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.

You will direct shift planning, maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual, participate in quality assurance, and coordinate with other resident services to sustain the highest quality of resident

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must be licensed to practice as an RN or LPN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and applicable laws/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs/GNAs or other nursing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with written policies and procedures.
• Review and update department policies and procedures.
• Provide discipline and performance evaluations as required.
• Plan shifts and activities with nursing staff.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure adherence.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory surveys.
• Coordinate with other resident services to ensure comprehensive care.
