Job summary

Parc Communities is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Marietta, GA, 7a–3:30p, every other weekend. The role is within Resident Care, reporting to the Resident Care Director, with a focus on delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing services in a senior living setting.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years in gesundheit facilities, geriatric care experience, and Georgia licensure, plus CE credits and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited LVN/LPN program and licensed in GA.
• 2–4 years of nursing experience in a health care facility.
• Experience in geriatric nursing, emergency care, first aid.
• Must obtain Continuing Education credits as required by the State.
• Dementia care training desirable.
• Able to cope with mental and emotional stress.
• Able to work with physicians, management, staff and outside contacts.
• Able to make independent decisions when warranted.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and observe for adverse reactions.
• Meet with Resident Care Director regularly to discuss plans and challenges.
• Ensure quality and safe delivery of health services to residents.
• Document information timely and accurately.
• Communicate with physicians and families regarding patient status.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
