Job summary

Best Home Health Care LLC in Leesburg, FL seeks a licensed practical nurse to perform wound care and basic nursing duties during 3 visits per week with a flexible schedule.

Applicant must hold a current Florida LPN license and be dependable, compassionate, and professional in delivering high-quality patient care and following physician orders.

• Wound assessment, cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring.
• Taking and documenting vital signs.

• Providing basic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Following the patient's Plan of Care and physician's orders.
• Completing accurate nursing documentation after each visit.
• Communicating with the patient, family, and nursing supervisor as needed.
• Maintaining patient safety and infection-control procedures.

Location: Leesburg, FL Best Home Health Care LLC

Schedule

Approximately 3 visits per week with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

The LPN will provide wound care as ordered and perform basic LPN nursing duties, which may include:

Wound assessment, cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring

Taking and documenting vital signs

Medication assistance/administration as ordered

Monitoring the patient's condition and reporting changes

Providing basic nursing care within the LPN scope of practice

Following the patient's Plan of Care and physician's orders

Completing accurate nursing documentation after each visit

Communicating with the patient, family, and nursing supervisor as needed

Maintaining patient safety and following infection-control procedures

Requirements

Applicants must have a current and valid Florida LPN license and be dependable, professional, compassionate, and comfortable providing wound care and basic nursing services.
