Job summary
Brookwood Care Community in the greater Cincinnati area is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate care team. You will supervise STNAs, provide direct nursing care, and coordinate with other departments to maintain high-quality outcomes.
We value growth, supportive leadership, and a culture of respect. An active LPN license is required; experience in long-term care is a plus.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in good standing
- Experience in long-term care is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to supervise STNAs and other nursing personnel
Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day functions of STNAs in accordance with rules and guidelines
- Provide discipline and evaluations for nursing staff
- Plan shifts, services, and activities with assigned personnel
- Complete admission, transfer, and discharge documentation
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians
- Coordinate with physicians and ensure treatment plans are followed
- Inform Nurse Supervisor/Unit Manager of changes to care plans
