Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is seeking an Assistant Nurse Instructor - LPN (Anticipated) for a 10‑month, 0.9 FTE position at Wayne Tech and Career Center. The role involves assisting with instruction for high school students in Health Careers and preparing them for the CNA exam, with labs and curriculum aligned to NYS standards and DOH guidelines.

Applicants must hold NYS LPN certification, have at least two years of LPN experience (including long‑term care), and possess or be able to obtain NYS

Qualifications

• LPN certification required.
• Minimum of two years LPN experience, at least one in long‑term care.
• Must have NYS Teaching Assistant certification or be able to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instruction for high school students in Health Careers.
• Oversee labs providing hands‑on CNA experiences.
• Support curriculum implementation per NYS standards and DOH requirements.
• Arrange speakers, field trips, and shadowing experiences for students.
• Collaborate in a team environment for interdisciplinary learning.
