Sevita's REM Community Services in Huntington, WV, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a mission-driven team. In this full-time role, you will provide nursing services, medication administration, and ISP-driven care to individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs.

The position offers a welcome bonus of $3,000, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to train staff, collaborate with medical providers, and support residents across diverse settings within our nationwide network.

Formación

• Associate degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited LPN program.
• One year of nursing experience with the population served.
• Current state LPN/LVN license.
• Valid driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• CPR/FA and HIV/AIDS certification, BBP, and ACT training as required by state licensing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, individuals served, and families.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services.
• Administer medications and provide documentation as well as supervise staff who administer medications.
• Provide prescribed medical treatments per physician orders and personal care services.
• Conduct assessments, implement health care services in the ISP, and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide staff training including universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration.
• Serve as liaison with medical and professional service providers.
