Cell Staff is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team at partner correctional facilities in Alabama. This full-time role offers 8- or 12-hour shifts with some weekends required, and flexible contract scheduling based on facility needs.

You will perform health screenings, triage and treat inmates’ medical and mental health needs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies. Travel stipends may be provided for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution.
• Licensed as an LPN in good standing by the state where the position is located.
• 1+ year of relevant LPN experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform health screenings and physical examinations.
• Triage, assess, and treat inmates’ chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs during incarceration.
• Assess and provide mental health care including patient assessments/evaluations.
• Administer medications, wound care, and other nursing interventions as directed by medical staff.
• Serve as first responder in emergencies and crises.
• Perform general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc.
