Job summary

Schnepp-Senior-Care- in Saint Louis, MI, seeks an LPN to join our award-winning Skilled Nursing team. You will assess patient needs, administer medications, and coordinate with an inter-disciplinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

You’ll lead nursing assistants, support rehabilitation plans, and promote hospitality in every interaction with residents and families. A Michigan LPN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

A current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan and CPR certification.
An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and rehabilitation.

You will earn: $31.55 per hour Starting Wages

LPN starting wage $28.15 per hour

How you will help people every day:

You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

A current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan; current CPR certification.
