Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab is seeking an LPN to join our award-winning skilled nursing team in Michigan. Responsibilities include wound care, IV therapies, medications, and patient support, in a dynamic interdisciplinary setting.

You will oversee Nurse Aide staff, ensuring quality care and a positive healing environment for our patients and their families. Requires Michigan LPN license and CPR certification, with a background in healthcare serving the elderly.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan and CPR certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed and advise patients and families on changes to medications and treatment plans.
• Provide preventative and supportive care to address physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team including direction, training, and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients and families.

You will earn: $31.55 per hour Starting Wages

• LPN starting wage $28.15 per hour

How you will help people every day:

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• A current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan; current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
