Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Jackson, MI is hiring an LPN Practical Nurse. The role offers up to $41.40/hour for 2nd shift with additional shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

You will join a robust interdisciplinary team, providing compassionate care across multiple clinical areas and leading a Nurse Aide team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan LPN license and CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed and communicate changes to patients and families.
• Provide preventative and supportive care for patients' physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families and visitors.
• Oversee Nurse Aide team including direction, training, and evaluations.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 8 hour shifts or 12 hour shifts - all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Full Time or Part Time available
• Days or Afternoons available! (1st or 2nd shift)

How you will help people every day:

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• A current license to practice as a Practical Nurse - LPNin the state of Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
