About the Role:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Night position at Van Buren House is a critical role focused on providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to residents during nighttime hours. The primary goal is to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of all residents by monitoring their conditions, administering medications, and responding promptly to any medical needs or emergencies. This role requires close collaboration with the healthcare team to maintain accurate documentation and support individualized care plans. The LPN will also play a vital role in observing changes in residents' health status and communicating these observations to the appropriate medical personnel. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.

• Additional certifications such as IV therapy or wound care.
