Job Overview

The Night Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the health and wellbeing of our residents and providing leadership support and assistance with hands-on resident care and services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to promoting the overall wellbeing of residents, assisting in training and monitoring of medication administration, communicating with resident support services and families, ensuring quality care and services are being provided and documented in a consistent manner and in alignment with each resident's Service Plan (SP), and maintaining clinical quality while leading and demonstrating the Sunrise Senior Living mission, "to champion the quality of life for all seniors" in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and Sunrise Senior Living policies to promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Supporting our Mission, Principles of Service and Core Values is fundamental. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Coordination of Health Needs
  2. Identifying ongoing care and service needs of residents to promote high-quality outcomes.
  3. Ensuring proper evaluation, follow-through, and documentation for residents with health changes.
  4. Monitoring and documenting incidents and changes in residents' conditions.
  5. Maintaining communication with residents’ families and physicians.
  6. Assisting in maintaining wellness files and providing clinical support.
  7. Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
  8. Striving for excellent quality care and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and preparing for surveys.
  10. Medication Programs
  11. Monitoring medication administration, updating physician orders, and ensuring medication security.
  12. Resident Care
  13. Responding promptly to resident needs, maintaining confidentiality, and updating care plans.
  14. Managing staff on shift and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  15. Risk Management and Safety
  16. Ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures, including OSHA and PPE use.
  17. Infection Control
  18. Following infection prevention protocols and managing exposures.
  19. Training and Team Contribution
  20. Participating in team efforts, supporting onboarding, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Compensation

$24.25 - $32.35 per hour
