Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift in Pascagoula, MS. The LPN provides skilled nursing care to patients per a defined plan of care, under supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited LPN program, holds a Mississippi LPN license, and maintains BCLS certification. 6 months nursing experience is preferred, with de-escalation training completed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program for Licensed Practical Nursing.
• Current State of Mississippi license as an LPN required; expanded role licensure preferred.
• BCLS certification required or maintained upon hire; de-escalation training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled technical nursing care to patients per plan of care.
• Adhere to MS Nurse Practice Act and facility infection control guidelines.
• Follow Singing River Health System policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Nurse Practitioner or Physician.
