Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shift at Surry County Jail, North Carolina. The role features a 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM schedule on a rotating basis, full-time status, and a shift differential to reward overnight coverage.

You’ll provide essential nursing care, administer medications, conduct assessments, and support a structured, secure patient care environment with a focus on quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license or compact license in North Carolina.
• Ability to work night shift in a correctional setting.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions for changes.
• Assist with sick calls and chronic care management as needed.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies per protocols.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
• Follow facility protocols and nursing standards.
