Job summary

Safire Rehabilitation of Southtowns in Erie County, New York invites enthusiastic LPNs to join a premier long-term skilled nursing facility. We offer competitive salary, full benefits, paid time off, pension, and growth opportunities.

We are filling 3 pm–11 pm and 11 pm–7 am shifts. Per diem salary is $28.00 per hour. Under supervision, LPNs provide direct nursing care and assist with various patient care tasks to support residents and families.

Qualifications

• Completion of an educational program and NYS licensure as a LPN.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care in structured & routine situations.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
• Prepares for and assists Nurses and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Reinforces, supports and provides health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Observes and reports patients’ vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individuals.
• Assists in the admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Maintains environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients.
