Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is hiring RNs for day, evening, and night shifts in Cambridge, MA. Licensed applicants with a willingness to provide resident-focused care are encouraged to apply. The facility offers premium compensation, strong benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

New-grad nurses are welcome. Pay starts at $38 per hour and can go up to $42 per hour with experience, plus shift differentials.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies.
• Maintains awareness of new updates standards and incorporates them into nursing practice throughout the continuum of care.
• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.
• Accurately completes routine tasks without supervision.
• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.
• Administers medications accurately according to the five rights of medication administration and documents them.
• Performs treatments using sterile or clean technique.
• Administers external feedings.
• Demonstrates Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center’s mission, vision, and values through professional excellence.
• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift times.
• Maintains calm behavior and uses professional judgment during emergencies in a team setting.
• Cooperates with reassignments for resident care.
• Reports resident care problems and potential solutions to nursing management.
• Delegates resident care issues to appropriate management personnel.

Functions
