Job summary

Semrhi is seeking an LPN to assist the Provider in direct patient care and to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families across age groups. The role requires readiness to float to various clinic locations and to support efficient, quality patient care.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, room turnover, timely patient preparation, and accurate documentation of vital signs and medical records.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Mississippi Board of Nursing License.
  • Current CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association.
  • Ability to perform phlebotomy and duties with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and prepare reports.
  • Must be flexible and able to float to other clinic locations as needed.
  • Must pass background check, drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

  • Return examination rooms to proper order after each patient.
  • Prepare patients in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Demonstrate ability to access and assist patients in emergency situations.
  • Keep exam rooms and lab neat, clean, stocked with supplies.

  • Document complete and accurate vital signs.
  • Document information in the medical record.
  • Assess patients according to symptoms.
  • Follow the Provider's orders promptly.
  • Return patient calls in a timely manner.
  • Understand and assist recall and follow-up procedures.

Job description

Qualifications
Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Mississippi Board of Nursing License
  • Current CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the administration of their duties in addition to performing phlebotomy
  • Basic knowledge of clinical operations
  • Demonstrates skills in written and oral communication
  • Ability to comprehend and perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and accept constructive criticismAbility to prepare reports and follow-up as necessary
  • Must continuously listen, visualize, and have dexterity and eye-hand coordination
  • Must have full range of body motion
  • Must frequently sit, reach, use both right and left forearm rotation, walk, stand, kneel and twist
Physical and Other Requirements
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screen and physical assessment
  • Must occasionally kneel, twist and have ability to grasp firmly
  • Must lift and carry, push and pull in excess of 20lbs
