Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Experienced LPN to join the 6D Neuro Trauma Intermediate PCU. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, using the nursing process to coordinate care with the healthcare team in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include managing post-operative traumas, stroke patients, and medical overflow while adhering to patient rights and confidentiality. Sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 for experienced LPNs and up to $2,000 for graduate nurses are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or comparable education and licensure.
• Current LPN license for the hiring state required.
• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Experience as an LPN is acceptable; new graduates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision in 6D Neuro Trauma PCU.
• Utilize nursing process to coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality while delivering high-acuity care.
