Easterseals PORT Health in New Bern, NC is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic, focusing on mental health and substance use services.

At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Outpatient Clinic in New Bern, NC. As an integral part of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work alongside a team of professionals, all committed to transforming the lives of individuals seeking assistance for substance use.
The primary purpose of the Nurse is to provide patients with services including screening, medication/prescription management, assisting the treatment team, treatment after-care, and referral services. This position will provide medication and medical assistance to mental health and substance abuse clients as well as offer guidance to Medical Assistant. This position will work in collaboration with other clinical professionals to facilitate positive outcomes for our clients. The nursing professional maintains accurate and up to date medical documentation and client medication logs in addition to assisting other staff members in maintaining a therapeutic and healthy clinical environment for all clients.
This Full-time position from 5am to 1pm Monday- Friday and includes working every other weekend from 6am-10am.
Competitive salary: $27-$30/hr. for this full-time position
