Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in New Bern, NC is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Outpatient Clinic, focusing on mental health and substance use services.

You’ll screen patients, manage medications, support the treatment team, and help with after-care and referrals. Documentation and accurate logs are essential.

The schedule runs 5am–1pm Monday–Friday with alternating weekends, offering a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 403(b), PSLF eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NC LPN license to practice.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
• Valid driver's license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
• Prior mental health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening and medication/prescription management for patients.
• Assist the treatment team and contribute to after-care and referrals.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient medication logs.
• Support a therapeutic and healthy clinical environment.
