Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking an LPN in New Bern, NC to support methadone administration, nursing assessments, and COWS documentation in a compassionate, team-based setting. You will work with clinical leaders to promote recovery and overall wellness for individuals receiving mental health and substance use services.

Responsibilities include HIV screening, TB testing, blood draws, and coordination with providers to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted LPN license to practice in North Carolina.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and transportation for work.

Responsibilities

• Methadone administration, verification and monitoring patient response.
• Nursing assessments at admission, annual and ongoing.
• Perform and document COWS assessments and report findings to the provider.
• HIV testing, education and care coordination.
• TB skin testing and documentation with timely follow-up.
• Blood draws and supervised urine drug screens; coordinate with medical staff.
