Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer medications per physician orders, monitor residents, and support care plans in our Prospect Heights community. You will maintain MAR/TAR accuracy, report changes, and participate in SHUs, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Strong assessment and documentation skills and CPR/First Aid certification required. Competitive pay range $29.25–$39.05 per hour plus benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision,

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or adverse reactions promptly.
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs).
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, or cognitive changes.
• Maintain medication carts, complete narcotic counts, and uphold compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For:
