Job summary

Aultman Health System in Canton, Ohio, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for the 6 East Medical Unit. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN and participate in patient and family teaching within a multidisciplinary team.

Required: Ohio LPN licensure, BLS, and strong communication. Full-time, day shift, 7a-7p, every other weekend and holiday; aligned with Ohio Nurse Practice Act standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active LPN license with Ohio Board of Nursing.
• AHA BLS training certification required (RQI preferred).
• IV Certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Teach patients and families as part of care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team to maintain nursing standards.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
