Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates in Lawton, OK is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contract assignment. The LPN will deliver direct Med-Surg care for infants to geriatrics, working in a 12-hour day shift with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

The role requires strong collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, adherence to safety and quality standards, and ongoing assessment and care coordination for diverse patient

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated LPN Medical-Surgical experience (MS).
• Active Oklahoma LPN license or Compact/NLC license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Schedule:

• Shift Schedule: Day Shift | 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (12-hour shifts).


• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week guaranteed.


• Weekend Requirements: As needed per facility schedule.


• On-Call Requirements: None.

Role Overview:

Seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a contract assignment in Lawton, OK. The LPN will develop, implement, and coordinate direct nursing care for Medical-Surgical patients across all age demographics (infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to maintain high standards of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Scope:

• Direct Patient Care & Assessment: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Med-Surg patients; perform patient assessments, contribute to nursing diagnoses, and implement individualized care plans.


• Age-Specific Care Delivery: Adapt nursing interventions and patient care systems to meet the unique physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.


• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Provide clinical leadership and work cooperatively with ancillary healthcare staff, registered nurses, and providers to optimize patient outcomes.


• Quality & Clinical Standards: Adhere to established professional nursing standards, safety protocols, and facility policies within the clinical setting.

Qualifications & Submission Requirements:

Experience & Clinical Competency:

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated LPN Medical-Surgical (MS) experience [REQUIRED].

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active Oklahoma LPN License or active Compact/NLC Multistate LPN License in-hand at time of submission [REQUIRED].


• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [REQUIRED].
