Job summary

The Department of Defense, through the Youth Challenge Program (YCP) at Ft Eisenhower, seeks an LPN / Medical Department Supervisor to oversee cadet health services and supervise clinic staff.

You will administer medications, coordinate care, maintain HIPAA standards, train staff, manage drug testing, and handle Medicaid forms. Flexibility for evenings/weekends and a GA driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• HSD/GED and completion of LPN program.
• Georgia LPN license to practice in GA.
• Two years of supervisory or leadership experience, or one year at lower level.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and safekeep meds.
• Coordinate with health care team; document care plans.
• Deliver standard medical care; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Train and orient staff; conduct in-service training.
• Manage the cadet drug testing program; complete Medicaid forms.
• Visit other YCA campuses for training and development.
• Becoming CPR certified; present briefings to staff.
