Join our team as an LPN/Medical Assistant at the MercyOne Ottumwa Clinic.
As an LPN/Medical Assistant, you will support providers by ensuring a smooth patient flow, delivering a positive customer experience, and caring for clinic patients. Your responsibilities include recognizing and assessing urgent/emergency needs, facilitating interdisciplinary communication, managing electronic medical records, assisting with procedures, maintaining aseptic techniques, and documenting patient interactions accurately.
**Schedule:**
- Full Time Days
- M-F 8a-4:30p
**Requirements:**
- Current LPN license (Iowa) or valid CMA certification
- Clinic/physician office experience preferred
- BLS certification or obtained within 3 months of hire
- Mandatory Reporter abuse training completed within 3 months of hire
**Education:**
- For LPN: Near completion of an accredited LPN program
- For Medical Assistant: Near completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program
