Job summary

Advocate Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support patient care using the nursing process. You will contribute to a clean, safe, quiet environment while enhancing patient comfort for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

The role requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, successful pharmacology exam, current BLS certification, and completion of required competency and unit-specific checklists within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Successful completion of Pharmacology exam.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, recertified annually.
• Completion of competency checklist within first 90 days of employment.
• Completion of unit specific recommendations within one year.

The LPN utilizes the nursing process to provide the best care for Advocate Medical Center patients. Provides and maintains a clean, orderly safe, and quiet environment in support of patient comfort and contentment. Provides supportive care to adolescent, adult patients, and geriatric patients.

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

A. Education

1. Graduated from accredited School of Practical Nursing
2. Successful completion of Pharmacology exam.

B. Experience
