Job summary

Advocate Medical Center seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process within a clean, safe environment supporting comfort for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited PN program, successful pharmacology exam completion, BLS certification, and a 90-day competency checklist. Hospital or medical office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Successful completion of Pharmacology exam.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, recertified annually.
• Completion of competency checklist within first 90 days of employment.
• Completion of unit specific recommendations within one year.
• Previous hospital or medical office experience preferred; evidence of continuing professional development preferred.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable state.
