Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO, is seeking a Part-Time LPN for the Medical Surgical - Ortho unit. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and be supported by our virtual nurse team that assists with oversight, education, documentation, and monitoring.

This role offers two 12-hour shifts per week, a collaborative work environment, and opportunities to develop clinically while delivering high-quality patient care with cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with active state license.
• Less than 1 year of nursing experience preferred-free.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary Med/Surg Orthopedics team.

Responsibilities

• Function independently and use the nursing process.
• Coordinate care for a group of patients with the multidisciplinary team.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and identify hospital resources.
• Serve as a clinical resource for new staff.
• Assist primary nurse with chart review, patient education, and care coordination.

As an experienced nurse on this team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patient care processes, conditions, and diagnoses.
