Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Med/Surg unit. You will provide patient care under RN supervision, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and an active LPN license in the appropriate state; ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications may be preferred depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Must obtain and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state where nursing duties are performed.
• Other qualifications may be considered based on experience and licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
