Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Night Shift LPN to provide patient care in Med/Surg settings, following the nursing process under supervision. You will coordinate patient care with other departments and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and an active LPN license in the state. Certifications may be required per unit and include BLS and other essentials as specified.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; comparable education considered with licensure.
• Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of nursing duties performed.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
