Job summary

Artesia General Hospital in Artesia, NM is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. You’ll administer meds, monitor patient status, document findings, and coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges with the care team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide optimal, direct patient care and demonstrate sound decision-making skills.
• Communicate patient care needs to all members of the health care team.
• Contribute effectively to promote timely and efficient patent admission, transfer and discharge including providing appropriate patient education.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the primary care provider.
• Documents patient status in an accurate, pertinent and concise manner.
• Assist with updating care plans.
• Delegate or assign aspects of patient care to health care team members (non-licensed) commensurate with their validated competency to perform the task.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
