Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perry seeks an LPN for the Med Surg unit to provide patient care using the nursing process under RN supervision. The role requires maintaining patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating care with other departments.

Nights, full-time (36 hours/week) with benefits including medical, dental, vision, tuition support, and retirement plans. Licensure as an LPN in the hiring state and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration will be given for comparable education, experience and licensure.
• Licensure: LPN license in the hiring state; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or completion of course within 30 days of hire
• LPN-IV Certification must be completed or course completed within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri.

Qualifications:

• - Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
