Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perry is seeking an LPN for Night shift in Med Surg. The unit operates full-time with a 36-hour week, under supervision of licensed medical staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Licensure: obtain and maintain a current LPN license in the hiring state.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
• LPN-IV certification completed or within 3 months of hire for Missouri LPNs.

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Unit: LPN - Med Surg

Shift: Nights, Full-Time (36 hours/week)

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
  Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
• LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire for LPNs in Missouri
