Job summary

Qualifications

• Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required - Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in state of practice.
• Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred - IV Therapy Credentials.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process to deliver patient care through data gathering, planning, and evaluation.
• Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to patient ages.
• Communicates effectively with patients, guests, family members and staff to ensure quality care.
• Adapts to rapid changes in the unit/ department.
• Maintains clinical knowledge, skills, training and credentials through ongoing professional development.
• Performs other related duties as required.
