Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager is responsible for providing the highest quality care by administering medication and treatments safely. Responsibilities include medication administration, documentation, conducting SHUs, and providing resident care in accordance with laws, standards, and Sunrise policies to ensure quality care and service.

  • Medication Administration: Administer medications safely, document accurately, assist with and observe medication routines, ensure timely medication passing, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Resident Care: Communicate concerns, participate in care planning, and transcribe orders.
  • Risk Management & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, report incidents, and practice infection control techniques.
  • Training & Team Contribution: Participate in team activities, meetings, and training, and may supervise other staff.
Qualifications
  • Licensed nurse credential (LPN, LVN, or equivalent)
  • Maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid)
  • At least 18 years old
  • Experience with seniors preferred
  • Strong communication, judgment, and decision-making skills
