The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse provides essential nursing support by administering medications, monitoring resident health, and ensuring accurate clinical documentation in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Accurately document in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Monitor symptoms, report adverse reactions, and observe physical, emotional, or cognitive changes
• Transcribe physician orders and support care plan updates
• Maintain medication carts, conduct narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs) and support resident safety through clinical precision
