Job Overview

The LPN Medication Care Manager provides quality care by administering medication and treatments safely, in accordance with laws, regulations, and Sunrise policies, to promote the highest quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities
Medication Administration
  • Administers medications and treatments, documents properly, and follows the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
  • Maintains confidentiality and reports concerns.
  • Assists with medication checks, restocks, and maintains cleanliness of medication areas.
Resident Care
  • Communicates resident and family concerns, participates in care planning, and transcribes orders.
Risk Management and Safety
  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations, reports incidents, and practices infection control techniques.
Training and Team Contribution
  • Participates in team activities, meetings, training, and may supervise others.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or equivalent, with required certifications.
  • Previous experience with seniors preferred.
  • Strong communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
Compensation

$29.00 - $38.75 per hour.
