Job summary

Southern Health Partners Inc. seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Cherokee County Detention Center in Gaffney, SC for a full-time day shift (7:30 AM to 8:00 PM) with a rotating schedule, including every other weekend, and a sign-on/retention bonus.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe, respectful healthcare environment across the facility.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required in SC.
• Experience in clinical or correctional settings preferred.
• Full-time Day shift with rotating schedule including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor patient conditions and document care.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, RNs, and correctional staff.
• Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Provide patient education and promote wellness.
• Help ensure a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment.
