Job summary

Welch Community Hospital in Welch, West Virginia seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate team providing direct patient care across long-term, acute, and psychiatric settings. You will work under supervision of an RN or physician, oversee CNAs, and contribute to safe, effective patient care with attention to vital signs and medications.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in West Virginia.
• Ability to provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision.
• Experience with monitoring/vital signs and basic patient care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including daily living activities and medications.
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Oversee health service workers and CNAs to deliver quality care.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient progress.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges for smooth transitions.
• Maintain a safe environment and use de-escalation as needed.
• Prepare and organize medical supplies and equipment for care.
• Contribute to individualized care plans with other healthcare professionals.
