Job summary

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA is seeking a License Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Clinic Nursing Department. Under physician supervision, you will assist patient care, take vital signs, and perform phlebotomy and basic lab tasks.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a LPN or certified Medical Assistant in Iowa.
• BLS certification is required as an employee.
• Mandatory Reporter training certification is required as an employee.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the physician, assist in patient care.
• Obtain vital signs, blood pressures, height and weights and record information.
• Perform phlebotomy and simple lab functions.
• 35 hours per week with a variable one day off per week.
• Occasional weekend or evening.
